Terms and conditions.
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book — that is cheaper for both of us than finding out afterwards.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms apply when you ask Tripgare Travel Services to quote, arrange or issue an airline ticket, whether you contact us through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email. Using this site or asking us for a quote means you accept them.
2. We are an agent, not an airline
We arrange and issue tickets. We do not operate flights. Once a ticket is issued, your contract of carriage is with the operating airline, and that airline’s conditions of carriage govern the flight itself — including delays, cancellations, denied boarding, baggage handling and compensation.
What we are responsible for is the service we provide: quoting accurately, explaining the trade-offs, issuing what you approved, and helping you deal with the airline when something changes.
3. Quotes and prices
- A quote is not a booking. Airfares and seat availability change constantly. A price we quote is not held for you until it is either ticketed or formally held with the airline, and we will tell you plainly which of those has happened.
- A hold has a deadline. Where we can hold a fare, we will tell you when it expires. After that the seats are released and the price may change.
- Prices shown are the total per person unless stated otherwise, including taxes, carrier-imposed charges and our service fee.
- Currency. Airline systems price this corridor in Indian rupees. Prices displayed in Canadian or US dollars are converted at the rate applying when the page loads and are indicative until ticketing. The amount actually charged is confirmed before you pay.
- Search results are live availability from the airline system, not an offer. A consultant confirms the routing, baggage and fare conditions before anything is ticketed.
4. Lowest Fare Guarantee
If, within 24 hours of buying a ticket from us, you find the same journey cheaper elsewhere, we will match that price and send you a $50 voucher towards your next booking of a bulk private fare.
To claim, contact us within that 24-hour window and provide a written itinerary or quotation from the competing seller showing an identical journey. Identical means:
- the same airline, flight numbers, dates and routing
- the same cabin and the same fare basis, including the fare calculation
- the same number of passengers and passenger types
- a fare that was genuinely available to book at the time you found it
The guarantee applies to bulk private fares booked through us. It does not apply to fares from a different routing or cabin, member-only or corporate rates, package prices where the flight cannot be separated out, obvious pricing errors, or offers that were not available to book when you found them.
This guarantee is about price, not availability. Live search results on this site come from the airline reservation system and change constantly — a price you saw earlier may already be gone, and section 3 explains why. What we are promising here is that if a genuinely comparable fare was cheaper somewhere else at the time you booked with us, we will make up the difference.
To claim, speak to your consultant, email info@tripgare.com, or call +1 855 522 3344.
5. Payment
Payment is taken by card, either on a secure link we send you or over the phone with a consultant on a secure line. Where you pay by phone, the details are entered directly into the payment system as you give them — we do not write them down, and we do not keep them in a message or a file.
We will never ask you to send card details by email, by WhatsApp, by text message, or through any other written channel. If you receive a message asking you to do that, it did not come from us. Call +1 855 522 3344 and check before you act on it.
Tickets are issued once payment has cleared. Where a group booking runs on a deposit, the deposit and balance schedule is confirmed in writing before you commit.
6. Your details and travel documents
- Names must match your passport exactly. Airlines charge to correct a name, and some refuse entirely, meaning a new ticket. Check the spelling on the itinerary we send you and tell us immediately if anything is wrong.
- Passports, visas, transit permissions and health requirements are your responsibility. We will flag what we think applies, but requirements change and depend on your nationality. You must verify them against current official sources before you travel.
- A transit stop can require a visa even if you do not leave the airport, depending on your passport and routing. Ask us if you are unsure.
7. Changes and cancellations
What you can change, and what it costs, is set by the fare rules of the ticket you bought. Many of the cheapest fares are heavily restricted or non-refundable. We tell you the conditions before you buy, and we will not pretend a fare is flexible when it is not.
Where a change is possible, the cost is normally three separate amounts, and we will show them to you separately:
- the airline’s change or cancellation fee
- any difference in fare between your old and new flights
- our service fee for handling the change, if one applies
Refunds are processed on the airline’s timescale, not ours. We will chase them and keep you informed, but we cannot control how long an airline takes.
8. Baggage
Baggage allowance is set by the operating airline and varies by route, fare type and carrier. We quote the allowance that applies to your specific itinerary rather than a general figure. Excess baggage, sports equipment and instruments are charged by the airline and may need advance approval.
9. Special assistance and passengers needing extra support
We will request wheelchair or airport assistance, bassinets, special meals, seating together and similar services at the time of booking. Requesting is not the same as confirming. Some services are confirmed by the airline, some are subject to availability on the day, and airline lead times vary. We will tell you which is which for your booking.
Tell us about mobility, medical or accessibility needs before we choose a routing. It changes which carrier and which connection we would recommend, and it is far harder to fix afterwards.
10. Protected connections and separate tickets
Where your itinerary is issued on a single ticket, the operating airlines generally have a defined responsibility to re-accommodate you if an eligible disruption causes a missed connection. Where flights are on separate tickets, they are separate contracts: a delay on one may not oblige the next airline to help, and the cost of a replacement flight, hotel or transfer may fall to you.
We will always tell you which of these you are buying. If you choose separate tickets for the saving, we will record that you were told.
11. What we are responsible for
We are responsible for providing our service with reasonable care and skill, and for the accuracy of the information we give you.
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of airlines and other suppliers, nor for events outside our reasonable control — including weather, air traffic control decisions, strikes, airport closures, civil unrest, epidemics and government action. Compensation for a delayed or cancelled flight is a matter between you and the operating airline under the rules that apply to your route, and we will point you to the right channel without overstating what you are owed.
12. If something goes wrong
Tell us. We would far rather hear about a problem than have you sit with it. Contact info@tripgare.com or +1 855 522 3344, and give us your booking reference and what happened. We will acknowledge it and tell you what we can and cannot do.
13. Accreditation
Tripgare is IATA certified in India and CCRA accredited in Canada. Ticketing is carried out under our accreditations and through sub-contracted certified travel agencies where applicable.
14. Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applying there.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you booked. The date at the top shows when this version was published.
